Offering loads of cassis and black cherry fruit as well as notes of mulled spices, tobacco, and earth, its medium to full-bodied and nicely balanced, with some building chewy tannins and outstanding length on the finish. Given the tannins, 2-4 years of bottle age are warranted, but it should drink nicely over the following 10-12 years or more.
