Based on 65 Sauvignon Blanc and 35 Semillon, it has bright, minty herbs, citrus, and honeyed pineapple-like aromas and flavors as well as a medium-bodied, round, plush, beautifully textured style on the palate.
- 91 Punkte DECANTER, Panos Kakaviatos (042024): Earlier harvest to preserve acidity from this estate with gravel soils but thankfully cooler clays as well, resulting in an easy-going wine not without some warmth, but marked by ripe pear, peach, orange zest and lemon, more fruit forward than complex and a pleasure to drink. 2025-2032. Für den Jahrgang 2022: Tipp JoS: Familie Bernard hat die Weinberge des gleichnamigen Frauenklosters 1993 gepachtet und zunächst die Weinberge auf Vordermann gebracht. Das Terroir ist sehr ähnlich wie auf Domaine de Chevalier und somit sehr gut. 60 Sauvignon Blanc und 40 Semillon Blanc werden zu einem hervorragenden, klassichen Pessac Leognan vermählt, zunächst dominiert der Sauvignon Blanc mit seinen typischen Aromen, mit Luft (Dekantieren) und dem richtigen Glas (Zalto Bordeaux) öffnet er sich immer mehr und der etwas cremigere Semillon übernimmt immer mehr das Kommando mit karamelligen, gelbfruchtigen, melonigen Tönen, tolle Mineralität und gute Länge. Tolles PLV! 92-93 Punkte. Das Gut ist wenig bekannt, ein Blick lohnt sich hier aber wirklich. ;
